The RoboNet project

Intensive observations of Galactic Bulge stars undergoing microlensing provide the means to discover low-mass planets in wide orbits. Hundreds of such events are routinely identified each year by the OGLE and MOA surveys, and follow-up teams provide high-cadence observations for a subset of those. RoboNet operates an automated microlensing target prioritisation system which requests high cadence observations from the LCOGT global network of robotic telescopes and the Liverpool Telescope.
